A study of 48 honeys produced across Türkiye covered 15 types, including highland, pine, chestnut, thyme, lavender, sunflower, acacia and citrus honeys.[1]
Blossom honey vs honeydew honey
Blossom honey comes from nectar; honeydew honey comes from plant or insect secretions and differs in composition (higher electrical conductivity, lower total sugars).[2] Pine honey is the best-known Turkish honeydew honey.[3]

Which Turkish honey is best?+
It depends on taste: thyme honey is herbal and aromatic, pine honey is dark and resinous, wildflower honey is milder. Quality is shown by batch analysis, not by type.
